Here at MVBC, we believe that church leaders must pattern their lives after Christ, and live in such a way as to be an example of faith to the church body (Hebrews 13:7).

BEAR MORTON
Senior Pastor
Greg "Bear" Morton is an Idaho native. Originally from the Boise area, Bear's passion for the Word of God led Him to get his graduate and post-graduate degrees from the Master's Seminary in 1996 and 2012 respectively. He accepted the call to Magic Valley Bible Church in 2000, and has been the shepherding pastor ever since.
Bear enjoys spending time with his wife and 6 kids, as well as refereeing football, basketball, and baseball. Some of his favorite books include The Mortification of Sin by John Owen, and Preachers and Preaching by Martin Lloyd Jones.
NATE YOUTZY
Music Pastor
Nate Youtzy joined Magic Valley Bible Church in 2021. Prior to accepting the call to MVBC, Nate earned his M.Div degree from the Master's Seminary, and he holds an undergraduate degree in Biblical Studies from The Master's University. In college, he served as President of the Master's University Chorale, a select choir, from 2016 to 2017, and he has led and served in numerous other choirs and vocal ensembles.
Nate enjoys reading and writing in his spare time, and he and his wife enjoy spending time outdoors. He recommends reading Living Life Backward by David Gibson, as well as Awake O Harp by William Varner.
