Meals Ministry

"And let us consider how to stimulate one another to love and good deeds"

–Hebrews 10:24

"Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God; and everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God."

–1 John 4:7

One of the simplest ways for the body of Christ to serve one another is through providing meals for families and individuals in need. These meals can be provided by home cooking, take-out, or even gift cards. Whenever the need arises, a meal listing will be made available, and it will include the address of the family or individual, any dietary restrictions, and available times for food delivery.

Below are the various ways in which the Meals Ministry cares for those in need.

Injury Meals

For those within the church who may have recently been injured, or have had a family member get injured, priorities may be adjusted in order to compensate for the injury, and as such, meals can be overlooked. By providing these individuals or families with meals, they are able to juggle newfound responsibilities.

Bereavement Meals

After the loss of a loved one, many individuals and families are not focused on meals. The Meals Ministry is able to come alongside those who are grieving by bringing them meals as they deal with the passing of a family member or close friend.

Newborn Meals

It can often be difficult for families adjusting to a newborn to get meals organized, especially if they have other children in the house. By providing these families with a meal, it helps them stay organized with food as they adjust to an addition to the family.
